Job Summary

Certified Languages International (CLI) seeks telephonic interpreters to support their high-volume client base. Positions are available for independent contractors who can work from home, providing interpreting services 24/7.

About the Role

Interpreting services are primarily for medical purposes but also cover various industries such as insurance, finance, utilities, customer service, and state courts. The position requires fluency in a rare dialect or an unlisted language on CLI's job board.

Responsibilities

• Provide over-the-phone interpreting services for LEP individuals
• Interpret in a variety of industries including medical, insurance, finance, utilities, customer service, and state courts
• Work flexible hours, accommodating 24/7 client needs
• Use CLI's online portal or landline to log on and off

Requirements

• Legal to work in the United States with SSN or EIN and photo ID
• Reside in the United States

Qualifications

• Fluency in a rare dialect or an unlisted language on CLI's job board
• Experience in interpreting is preferred

Benefits

• Paid per minute for every minute spent on the phone interpreting
• Payment issued twice monthly via direct deposit

Pay

Payment is on a per-minute basis.
