About the role

Certified Languages International (CLI) seeks telephonic interpreters to support their high-volume client base. Positions are freelance, work-from-home roles with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide over-the-phone interpretation services for a variety of industries including medical, insurance, financial, utility, customer service, and state courts.
• Interpret in multiple languages for clients requiring 24/7 service.
• Log on/off using CLI's online portal or landline telephone.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States and reside in the U.S.
• Interpreting experience preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Reside in the United States

• Highly proficient in one or more languages
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional during calls

Pay

Payment is on a per-minute basis, with interpreters paid for every minute spent on the phone interpreting. Payments are issued twice a month, on the 15th and last day of the month via direct deposit.
