About the role

Certified Languages International (CLI) is a leading provider of interpreting services, established in 1996. CLI serves thousands of organizations across the country, focusing on communication with Limited English Proficient (LEP) speakers.

Responsibilities

• Provide over-the-phone interpretation services for a variety of industries including insurance, financial, utility companies, customer service, and state courts.
• Interpret in all languages and dialects, with a focus on medical interpreting due to the high volume of medical-related calls.
• Set your own schedule and work from home, utilizing CLI's online portal or landline telephone to log on and off.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States and be a resident of the U.S.
• Interpreting experience is preferred but not required.

• Valid Social Security Number or Employer Identification Number (EIN)
• Photo ID
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Reside in the United States

Qualifications

• Fluency in multiple languages and dialects
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
