About The Role
NeoPollard Interactive is seeking a talented freelance Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the growth of Play Alberta, one of Canada’s most exciting digital entertainment brands. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence a well-established brand during a pivotal period of transformation within Alberta’s regulated gaming industry.
As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating compelling visual assets across multiple channels, including email campaigns, websites, social media, the Play Alberta app, and paid media initiatives. Your work will help shape the visual identity of the brand, ensuring consistency with regulatory standards and brand guidelines.
Collaborating closely with marketing, content, and creative teams, you will support the development of innovative marketing solutions that resonate with a broad audience. This position emphasizes graphic design but also offers occasional opportunities to assist with content management, providing a well-rounded experience in digital marketing and creative production.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic design and content management
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and visual storytelling
- Experience with digital asset creation for various platforms and formats
- Knowledge of content management systems (e.g., dotCMS) is a plus
- Familiarity with HTML5 and web design concepts is advantageous
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience working remotely is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work in a remote setting
Responsibilities
- Design creative assets for email campaigns, websites, social media, and other marketing initiatives
- Transform game-provider assets into polished, on-brand visuals aligned with Play Alberta’s voice and regulatory standards
- Download, organize, and prepare creative assets from game providers for marketing use
- Maintain and update the creative asset management system (Airtable) to ensure organized workflows
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, and content teams to develop innovative visual solutions
- Contribute ideas and feedback during weekly team meetings to enhance creative output
- Manage multiple projects efficiently, prioritizing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure high-quality, accurate, and polished design work that meets brand standards
- Support content management activities as needed, including asset organization and updates
