Graphic Designer
About the role
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating all print and digital collateral from conception through implementation and production in support of regional needs. The graphic designer is inherently detail-oriented and ensures all collateral adheres to corporate brand guidelines and applicable campaign guidelines. This professional role collaborates with various teams across the region to support project development, MarCom, regional office, and jobsite needs and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design and produce print and digital collateral adhering to corporate brand guidelines to support internal and external marketing efforts.
- Items may include print and digital ads, social media graphics, direct mail, email newsletters, digital displays, website imagery, infographics, region-level event collateral, presentation decks, multi-media pieces, mobile apps, swag and apparel items and other collateral that supports the needs of the region.
- Support procurements by partnering with the marketing lead to create and produce cohesive deliverables over the lifecycle of a pursuit. This includes prequalification materials, proposal documents and interview collateral.
- This includes active involvement in brainstorming and draft reviews to create compelling layouts and/or document templates that communicate the team's message and win strategies.
- Support MarCom initiatives by actively participating in internal brainstorms, creative concepting, campaign planning and creative review.
- Offer insight and direction on the strategic visual communication of the team's initiatives and projects. Translate concepts and ideas into comprehensible designs and deliverables.
- Support the jobsites by designing and producing print and digital deliverables including large format signage, fencing graphics, digital displays, hard hat stickers and swag/apparel items.
- Provide collateral items for events like ground breakings, topping outs or trade partner / client appreciation.
- Support region-level participation in corporate campaigns through the creation of cohesive print and digital design materials.
- For example, Building Together and Safety Week campaigns.
- Ensures all print and digital design materials are optimized for end-use and delivered according to brand guidelines, specifications, production and color quality standards, and on budget.
- Partner with regional and corporate recruitment leaders and show attendees to develop tradeshow and exhibit collateral like booth signage, specialty displays, brochures and flyers. Ensure these materials are following brand guidelines and applicable corporate campaigns.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma 5+ years of experience in developing supporting materials for potential client responses or company initiatives and/or a combination of education and experience.
- Microsoft Office Suite competency.
- Highly proficient in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- Demonstrated creative ability.
- Photo Editing & WEBDAM Management proficiency.
- Highly organized and superb task management skills.
- Excellent multi-tasking capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or art.
