About the role
The Safety & Industrial Business Group (SIBG) at 3M is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our team. This role offers opportunities to collaborate with innovative colleagues around the world and make a meaningful impact in the field of graphic design.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with 3Mers to produce deliverables consistent with plan objectives and strategies.
- Develop a working knowledge of brand/s and 3M guidelines, ensuring accurate implementation.
- Study design/market/technology research to interpret consumer feedback and assist in completing design requests and projects.
- Participate in activities to learn new skills and apply them to the job.
- Demonstrate professional curiosity and creativity in the application of design or design research skills to defined project goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- One (1) year of graphic design experience in branding, design or design-research
- Skilled in Adobe Suite, design thinking, and knowledge of current trends
- Have a portfolio that showcases brand design, packaging, in-store experience and brand standard guides
- Basic knowledge of industrial business B2B (Business to Business)

Pay & Benefits
The expected compensation range for this position is $84,595 - $103,394, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. Work Location & Travel
This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN. May include up to 20% domestic travel.
