Responsibilities
- Create designs, concepts, and layouts for preprint and catalog ads
- Photo editing and preflight, along with a large variety of graphic related projects
- Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed
- Able to adapt to specific audiences as well as the objective of messages
- Ensure the Scheels brand style guide is upheld in all posters, brochures, signage and all other Scheels documents
- Actively participate in the weekly team meetings
- Confer with leadership to resolve problems or questions
- Execute project work plans to complete the task on time, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Meet all assigned goals and assist others in accomplishing their goals
Requirements
- Knowledge of graphic design and layout skills
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 5 with an emphasis in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Assist with all other aspects of graphic planning and design

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
- Roles are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Education & Experience
- Ideal candidate will have a minimum of an AAS or BFA degree in Graphic Design, or a related field
- 1-3 years graphic design experience preferred
