We need to produce HTML fragment with sections for headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections if posting has real specific content. We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID etc. Remove boilerplate. Must preserve all substantive info. We need to parse the posting. Key info: - Classification Title: Administrative Support Assistant I (but we don't repeat as heading) - Union Code: R07 (metadata, can be short p) - Temporary end date: This position is temporary and ends on or before June 30, 2027. - FT/PT: Full-time - Pay Plan: 12-month - Workplace type: On-site (work in-person at business location) - Anticipated hiring range: Step 1 $3,641 - Step 5 $3,747 However, offer amount will be commensurate with candidate’s experience, education, skills, and training. - CSU Classification Salary Range: Step 1 $3,641 – Step 20 $4,847 - Pay Basis: Monthly - Benefits: CSUB offers a best-in-class benefit package for eligible employees that includes an array of medical plans, choice of dental plans, vision coverage, retirement participation in CalPERS, CSU tuition waiver, up to 24 vacation days per year, sick leave with unlimited accrual, 15 paid holidays per year and more! See our benefits website for additional information. - Candidates eligible to apply: Open to all qualified applicants (maybe minor) - Position purpose: description. - Duties & Responsibilities: list of duties (Administrative Work for Principal Investigators, General Office Support, Event Support). Each has bullet points. - Required Qualifications: Education & Experience – High school diploma or GED and one (1) year of recent (within five years) experience in an office environment. - Skills, Knowledge & Abilities (SKA’s) – list many items. - Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated skills in an institutional/educational environment possessing a customer-oriented and service-centered attitude. - Physical Demands: SEDENTARY WORK – involves mainly sitting; minimal walking and standing; lifting light weight objects limited to 15 pounds. - Environmental Factors: N/A (we should not include if N/A) - Special Conditions: Screening, Background Check, Education Code 89521 Requirements, Sensitive Position, General Information (citizenship, Oath of Allegiance, etc.), CSU Nondiscrimination Policy, etc. Many of these are boilerplate/legal. We need to remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The special conditions include background check, sensitive position, etc. Some may be considered boilerplate but they are specific to the role? The instruction says remove EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. The background check and sensitive position might be considered legal boilerplate but they are specific conditions. However they might be considered boilerplate. The instruction: "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions." So we should remove legal boilerplate like background check, sensitive position, general information about citizenship, oath, nondiscrimination policy. Those are typical legal statements. So we should drop those. Thus we keep: position purpose, duties & responsibilities, required qualifications (education & experience, SKAs), preferred qualifications, benefits, pay (including hiring range, pay basis, maybe mention step range), schedule (full-time, on-site, temporary end date). Also maybe include workplace type. We need sections: About the role (maybe position purpose), Responsibilities (duties), Requirements (education & experience), Qualifications (maybe combine required and preferred? But we have separate sections for Qualifications and Skills). The instruction says use headings for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we need to map content accordingly. - About the role: position purpose paragraph. - Responsibilities: list of duties (Administrative Work for Principal Investigators, General Office Support, Event Support) each with sub-bullets. - Requirements: education & experience (high school diploma/GED + 1 year recent office experience). - Qualifications: maybe the SKAs list? But they also said Skills heading separate. Could treat Qualifications as required qualifications (education & experience) and Skills as the SKAs list. However we already used Requirements for education & experience. So Qualifications could be preferred qualifications? Or maybe we combine required and preferred under Qualifications? Let's think: The headings list includes Requirements, Qualifications, Skills. So we can assign: - Requirements: education & experience. - Qualifications: preferred qualifications (institutional/educational environment, customer-oriented). - Skills: the SKAs list. But the SKAs list is long; we can put as
  • each item. - Benefits: the benefits paragraph. - Pay: include anticipated hiring range, pay basis, maybe mention CSU classification salary range? The posting includes both anticipated hiring range and CSU classification salary range. Provide both? The instruction: preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we should include both ranges. However we must not include placeholder like "commensurate with experience" - that is actual text; we can keep it. The phrase "However, offer amount will be commensurate with candidate’s experience, education, skills, and training." is substantive. So we keep. - Schedule: include FT/PT: Full-time, Workplace type: On-site, Temporary end date: ends on or before June 30, 2027. Also Pay Plan: 12-month maybe considered schedule? But Pay Plan is about compensation period; could be included in Pay section. We'll include schedule: Full-time, On-site, Temporary (ends June 30, 2027), 12-month pay plan. We must not include headings with filler/placeholder text. Ensure we have real content. Now produce HTML fragment: use

    for each section heading. Use

    for prose. Use

    • for lists. We need to avoid repeating job title as heading. No markdown. Let's craft. First, maybe a short p for metadata like Union Code R07? Could be included in a short p under About the role? But we might drop minor metadata. The instruction: "do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it." So we can include a short p with union code etc. But we need to decide where. Could place after About the role? Or maybe at top as a short p. But we must not create extra headings for that. We'll include a short p after the opening maybe. But we need to output only HTML fragment, no extra text. Let's structure:

      About the role

      [position purpose paragraph]

Maybe also include union code etc as a short p after that? Could be separate

      Union Code: R07

but that's minor metadata. We'll include as a short p. Then

      Responsibilities

        with each duty category as
      • containing sub-ul? The instruction: Use
        • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So we can have top-level list for each duty category, and within each we can have nested
          • for sub-items. That's okay. Then

            Requirements

              for education & experience. Then

              Qualifications

                for preferred qualifications. Then

                Skills

                  for SKAs list. Then

                  Benefits

                  benefits paragraph.

                  Then

                  Pay

Pay info: anticipated hiring range, CSU classification salary range, pay basis, note about commensurate.

                  Then

                  Schedule

Full-time, On-site, Temporary position ending on or before June 30, 2027, 12-month pay plan.

We must ensure we don't include any boilerplate like EEO etc. We removed those. Check for any duplicated lines: we should not repeat. Now craft content precisely. Position purpose paragraph: "The Office of Grants, Research and Sponsored Programs (GRaSP) provides administrative infrastructure for the development and submission of grant proposals, and for the receipt and management of external and internal awards for sponsored programs of the University and the CSUB Auxiliary for Sponsored Programs Administration (SPA). Under the direct supervision of the Associate Vice President for Grants, Research, and Sponsored Programs, the Grant Support Assistant provides routine clerical and administrative support to Principal Investigators in the administration of grant funded activities. The incumbent prepares and processes standard personnel, purchasing, travel, reimbursement, and financial documents; routes paperwork for required approvals; maintains administrative records; and assists with the routine processing of grant-related transactions in accordance with established university policies and procedures. The position also provides general office support for the Office of Grants, Research and Sponsored Programs (GRaSP), including front office assistance, document preparation, records maintenance, and logistical support for workshops, training sessions, and other GRaSP-sponsored events." We'll keep that as is. Now Responsibilities: we have three categories with bullet points. Category 1: Administrative Work for Principal Investigators - Prepare standard hiring paperwork, student employment documents, and appointment requests for grant-funded employees. - Prepare and process basic purchasing requests, requisitions, payment requests, travel requests, reimbursements, and other financial documents using established processes. - Route forms and supporting documentation for required university approvals and signatures. - Track the status of submitted paperwork and provide routine follow up with university offices to facilitate timely processing. - Order laboratory and office supplies and maintain supply inventory. - Reconcile monthly ProCard reports according to established procedures. - Maintain records of grant-related expenditures and assist with compiling routine financial information. - Respond to routine administrative requests from faculty and staff by preparing documents, processing forms, and completing assigned clerical support activities. Now Requirements: Education & Experience – High school diploma or GED and one (1) year of recent (within five years) experience in an office environment. We'll put as
                • High school diploma or GED and one (1) year of recent (within five years) experience in an office environment.
                • Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications – Demonstrated skills in an institutional/educational environment possessing a customer-oriented and service-centered attitude. We'll put as
                • Demonstrated skills in an institutional/educational environment possessing a customer-oriented and service-centered attitude.
                • Skills: list of SKAs. Many items. We'll need to capture each as separate
                • . Let's enumerate them from the text: - Regular and reliable attendance is required. - Basic knowledge of applicable university policies and procedures. - Ability to use standard office equipment. - Ability to identify and solve standard problems and refer more complex problems to appropriate staff. - Ability to perform basic mathematical functions. - Fundamental writing and presentation skills to effectively communicate standard information.
