Grant Coordinator
Summary
Works with Pharmacology & Therapeutics Department faculty to increase the number of high-quality grant submissions resulting in an increase in external funding for the department. Overseas application preparation, including editing, formatting and revising grants; maintains centralized database of submitted applications. Provides training and technical assistance for grant submissions to investigators and support staff as needed; assists with preparation of progress reports and submissions to sponsor and ensures Other Support documents remain current. Additionally, provides administrative support for the department and education program.
Qualifications
- Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in grant preparation and editing; or Associate’s degree and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience in grant preparation and editing.
- Note: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
- The preferred candidate should have a Bachelors’ degree and experience working in an academic/research environment.
- The preferred candidate must have previous experience with preparing budgets and experience with preparing and working with grant submissions.
- The preferred candidate must have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment; have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Pay
The pay range for the Grant Coordinator is $62,514 - $78,846 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
