Grant Coordinator
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides clinical supervision and consultation to clinicians and interns/practicum students, as assigned, to assure quality of services.
- Affords assistance with training new staff/Interns/practicum students.
- Acts in consultation with other Managers and Director as needed.
- Provides outpatient counseling services utilizing evidence-based methodologies to provide excellent clinical services.
- Prepares for and conducts individual, group, and family therapy for assigned caseload.
- Assists clients in developing an individualized treatment plan, must be person centered, family centered, and service centered.
- Maintains appropriate contact with referral sources including providing information on client progress, behavior, and needs (with appropriate releases), and maintaining ongoing consultation when appropriate.
- Assists client in making discharge plans and provide follow up services as assigned.
- Attends staff meetings, clinical staffings, and other internal meetings as assigned.
- Participates on committees as assigned, including quality assurance functions.
- Maintains appropriate communication with other employees and work as an effective member of treatment team.
- Makes necessary decisions in the absence of Clinical Manager to assure program continuity.
- Maintains appropriate contact with referral sources including providing information on client progress, behavior, and needs (with appropriate releases), and maintaining ongoing consultation when appropriate.
- Monitors urinalysis, breathalyzer, and other testing as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Effectively communicates via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
- Skill in team building.
- Skill in problem-solving.
- Knowledge of community geographical awareness and of community and agency resources.
- Knowledge of inpatient treatment resources, including appropriate admission procedures.
Qualifications
- Education Level: Master’s Degree in Human Services.
- Years Of Experience: Demonstrated skill in performing clinical services.
- Certification/Licensure: Clinical License required. SAS staff must have certification or licensure within the required time frame mandated by DASA Staff Qualifications (or within 2 years of hire, whichever comes first).
