Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Grant Writing & Management
- Manage the full grant lifecycle
- Conduct ongoing prospect research
- Gather data, outcomes, and budgets
- Ensure full compliance with grant requirements
- Maintain organized, up-to-date grant records
- Donor Stewardship & Relationship Support
- Prepare written updates, impact summaries, and reports
- Collaborate with the Director of Communications
- Track grant-related data and metrics
- Communications & Content Support
- Contribute written content for institutional communications
- Affiliate with managing and updating the agency’s social media and digital platforms
- Collaborate with the Director of Communications on developing promotional and fundraising materials
- Development & Organizational Support
- Affiliate with fundraising initiatives, campaigns, and development events
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and community partners
Essential Qualifications
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, nonprofit management or a related field
- Minimum two years of experience with grant writing and nonprofit fundraising
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong research skills to identify funding opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally
- Experience in planned giving or major gift fundraising
- Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform donor communications and strategy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and social media management tools
- Highly organized, with strong project management
