Pay
$21/hr and up
Schedule
1st shift, 6:30am to 3pm, M-F with ample overtime, including weekends.
About the role
This hands-on job involves grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks. Equipment used includes various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs. Material handled includes bulk commodities such as wheat, corn, soybeans, etc.

Responsibilities
- Grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading
- Monitoring stored grain condition
- Maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment
- Following written and/or verbal instructions in English
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
- Available to work overtime and weekends
- Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
- Able to pass a criminal background check
Physical Requirements
- Physically strenuous work
- Ability to work in tight and confined spaces
- Ability to work at heights
- Frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
- Ability to ascend/descend ladders
- Required to wear PPE
