Pay

$22/hr and up

Schedule

This job will be 1st shift. Usual hours are 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday, with some overtime, including weekends. During fall harvest, we are open 7 days per week for 12+ hours per day, and you can expect to work 6 or 7 days per week during that time.

Responsibilities

• Grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain
• Monitoring stored grain condition
• Maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment

Equipment Used

Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs

Material Handled

Bulk commodities: corn, soybeans, etc.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand, and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
• Available to work overtime and weekends
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check

Physical Requirements

• Physically strenuous work
• Ability to work in tight and confined spaces
• Work at heights
• Frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
• Ascend/descend ladders
• Wear PPE
