Graduate - Human Resources
This is a 12-month temporary role. Interviews will be held on 28th August 2026 and may be conducted in person or via Microsoft Teams. About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a graduate to join our People Services team, offering hands-on experience across a wide range of HR activities. This role provides an excellent foundation for a career in Human Resources within a forward-thinking local authority.
Working alongside experienced HR professionals, you will support key areas of service delivery, including:
- Employee relations
- Policy development
- Organisational change
- Workforce planning
- People-focused projects
You will also undertake research and benchmarking, analyse workforce data, prepare briefing papers on employment legislation and case law, and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

Requirements

- Graduate or equivalent qualification (or working toward one)

Schedule
This role follows an Agile workstyle, with 100% of time spent working flexibly and interacting with others. You may work from home, the office, or multiple locations, with occasional required attendance at the office as needed.
