Golf Course Turf Staff
Highland Park Golf Course, located in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a motivated individual to contribute to a positive experience for members and guests while growing their knowledge of golf club operations. As part of Troon, you’ll join a global leader in golf and community management.
About the role
We are looking for motivated individuals to join our turf maintenance staff. Duties include walk mowing, bunker maintenance, string trimming, edging, blowing, and other tasks to maintain the golf course.
- Morning positions: walk, mow greens, and bunker maintenance (hours: 5:45 AM – 11:00 AM)
- Afternoon positions: hand watering bent grass greens (requires strong attention to detail; hours: 10:30 AM – 4:00 or 5:00 PM)

- Walk mowing
- Bunker maintenance
- String trimming and edging
- Blowing debris
- Hand watering bent grass greens (afternoon role)
- Other duties to maintain the golf course
Pay
$15.00 – $18.00 per hour (starting rate: $15.00)
Schedule
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift (morning or afternoon)
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
