Gold Care Physician

A bit more about this role: This position represents an amazing opportunity for an ambitious clinically focused physician ready to help build a virtual consult service with an interdisciplinary team. On a day-to-day basis, you will provide clinical oversight to a patient panel across the country with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care to a cohort of complex patients across multiple geographies, leveraging video telehealth visits and a multidisciplinary team.
• Work closely with patients, caregivers, and community resources to empower patients on their journey to achieve health literacy, self-efficacy, and what matters most to them.
• Work with clinical leadership to develop and standardize team-based community practice, as well as lead your multidisciplinary team.
• Engage patients, patients’ caregivers/family, existing provider network, and other Devoted programs to provide cohesive, comprehensive care experiences and optimal clinical outcomes. This includes working closely with patients’ non-Devoted PCPs and specialists, as well as Devoted’s specialized clinical and psychosocial teams, such as pharmacy, disease management and education, social work, and palliative teams.
• Utilize our homegrown electronic health information system (Orinoco) for visits while also providing feedback on how to improve the interface.
• Steward our patient-centric and open clinical culture to our patients and colleagues.

Requirements

• A fellowship-trained and board-certified physician with at least 3 years of clinical experience.
• Telehealth experience preferred.
• Experience managing other clinicians.
• Multi-state licensure preferred or willingness to obtain additional licensure as requested.
• Must be licensed to practice medicine by the [MARKET] Medical Board.

Pay

The pay range listed for this position is the range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay at the time of posting. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
