GME Coordinator - Medical Staff
About the role
The Program Coordinator supports the operational functions of accredited GME training programs at St. Mary's General Hospital, a community-based tertiary medical center in Passaic, NJ. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of national and hospital policies, along with strong organizational skills and initiative.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain accreditation of GME training programs
- Recruit and manage trainees
- Assist with projects and database maintenance
- Communicate with faculty and trainees on various matters
- Manage internal and external program relations
- Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and GME databases
Requirements
- Three to five years of GME and/or UME experience preferred
- ACGME experience preferred
- Tagme certification encouraged but not required
- Experience with New Innovations, ERAS preferred
Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of national and hospital policies
- High degree of initiative and independent judgment
- Organized planning and management skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and GME databases
Skills
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency
- Ability to analyze and maintain databases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $24.00 to $36.00 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selection.
