GME Coordinator - Medical Staff

About the role

The Program Coordinator supports the operational functions of accredited GME training programs at St. Mary's General Hospital, a community-based tertiary medical center in Passaic, NJ. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of national and hospital policies, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage various aspects of the program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining continuing accreditation of GME training programs
• Recruit trainees and manage projects related to the programs
• Analyze and maintain databases relevant to the programs
• Communicate with faculty and trainees on a variety of issues
• Manage internal and external program relations
• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and GME databases

Requirements

• Three to five years of GME and/or UME experience preferred
• ACGME experience preferred
• Tagme certification encouraged but not required
• Experience with New Innovations, ERAS preferred

Qualifications

• Organized and detail-oriented
• High degree of initiative and independent judgment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and GME databases

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $24.00 to $36.00 per hour.

Schedule
