About the role
The Program Coordinator supports the operational functions of accredited GME training programs at St. Mary's General Hospital, a community-based tertiary medical center in Passaic, NJ. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of national and hospital policies, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage various aspects of the program.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining continuing accreditation of GME training programs
- Recruit trainees and manage projects related to the programs
- Analyze and maintain databases relevant to the programs
- Communicate with faculty and trainees on a variety of issues
- Manage internal and external program relations
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and GME databases
Requirements
- Three to five years of GME and/or UME experience preferred
- ACGME experience preferred
- Tagme certification encouraged but not required
- Experience with New Innovations, ERAS preferred
Qualifications
- Organized and detail-oriented
- High degree of initiative and independent judgment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and GME databases
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $24.00 to $36.00 per hour.
