Global Training Coordinator
About the role
As a Global Training Coordinator, you will support the training departments within the API business unit at Valmet, a leading company in the Houston, Texas region. Reporting to the Director of Global Service, this role involves overseeing the training program, managing schedules, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing department processes for efficiency and improvement.
- Developing the training class schedules and working with online training tools.
- Ensuring that training has supplies for upcoming classes and managing training inventory.
- Answering customer questions regarding how to sign up, schedule, and pay for training.
- Aids in quotes for custom on-site classes and working with Field Service/Training to schedule.
- Tracks training locations and paperwork for classes.
- Opens training service orders in Infor LN, collects and tracks data for department KPIs.
- Invoices training classes and custom on-site training classes.
- Global coordination of service, training, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills – phone, email, and face to face.
- Microsoft Office proficiency and general computer skills.
- Emphasis on Excel – manipulating Infor LN/Power BI reports into Excel format; V-lookup experience, merging multiple tables.
- Ability to analyze Excel reports to identify trends, changes, and possible effects on the business unit.
- Use analysis to assist with possible improvements to the process or system.
- ERP / Infor LN experience preferred.
Skills, Education, And Experience

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Business).
- 5 years Industry / Analytical Experience.
- Extensive knowledge of finance, invoicing, and back-office processes.
- API product line knowledge, general business knowledge.
