About the Role

The Global Strategic Accounts Leader will report to the SVP Commercial Development and lead 3 to 4 major accounts globally. This role is empowered and accountable for building the strategy and go-to-market (GTM) approach to advance sales, partnerships, relationships, and long-term growth opportunities. The leader will maintain a strong working relationship with global Directors of Sales for EMEA and/or USA, as well as other global leaders. The ideal candidate will have an executive presence and excel at building strong relationships with strategic customers.

Responsibilities

  • Identify customer needs and requirements to promote the company’s solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction.
  • Drive the highest-level customer service and deliver an elevated “White Glove Service” experience.
  • Develop trusted relationships and acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements.
  • Expand relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the primary link of communication between strategic customers and internal teams.
  • Resolve customer issues, problems, and complaints to maintain trust.
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales opportunities that foster long-lasting relationships.
  • Expand and leverage a High-Level Network (HLN) to drive business growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 10+ years in BioPharma/Life Sciences Sales or similar industry experience.
  • Strong negotiation and executive-level skills.
  • Deep technical knowledge of BioPharma and Life Sciences industries.
  • Skilled in complex deal creation.
  • Financial acumen.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong listener and presenter.
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts using account metrics.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.

Physical Requirements

  • Located near a cluster of major customer HQs or decision-making sites.
  • Overnight and global travel (~30%).
  • Comfort with internal and external C-Suite interactions.
  • Appropriately presentable as an Executive.
  • Valid Passport and Driver’s License.

Pay

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America, is $160,000 - $230,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
