Global Head of Total Rewards - Food Ingredients

The Food Ingredients Business creates ingredient solutions that improve nutritional profiles, taste, texture, and cost efficiency for global food and beverage manufacturers. As this business transitions to a standalone organization, we are building a high-performing team to stand up, stabilize, and shape the future organization. This role is based in the United States with global scope and reports to the CHRO for Food Ingredients. You will be part of a strategic, transformative, and high-impact team where your work will drive significant business outcomes.
The Food Ingredients Business unit will transition to CVC Capital Partners following an anticipated sale in the first half of 2027, pending regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead the global Total Rewards strategy aligned with business priorities, talent strategy, and workforce productivity.
- Evaluate inherited compensation, benefits, and incentive programs and develop a future-state approach for the standalone business.
- Lead global compensation, including salary structures, market benchmarking, and annual compensation planning.
- Design and govern incentive programs that support business performance, leadership accountability, and value creation.
- Provide strategic leadership and governance for global benefits programs in partnership with the Global Benefits Director.
- Oversee executive compensation strategy and reward frameworks appropriate for a PE-backed company with growth ambitions.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders on talent retention, offer strategy, and workforce investment decisions.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and external advisors to ensure rewards programs are compliant, governed, and cost-disciplined.
- Lead the transition from inherited programs to a fit-for-purpose, scalable, and business-aligned rewards portfolio.
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive Total Rewards, compensation, benefits, or HR leadership experience.
- Significant experience leading global or multi-country Total Rewards programs.
- Expertise designing broad-based compensation programs, salary structures, and incentive plans.
- Experience with benefits strategy, vendor management, and country-level benefits programs.
- Strong background in job architecture, job evaluation, leveling, and pay governance.
- Proven ability to partner with senior business leaders, Finance, and Legal on rewards strategy.
- Strong understanding of global rewards governance, compliance, and compensation analytics.
- Experience operating in a complex, multinational environment.
- Strong executive communication, analytical judgment, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a private equity-backed company, carve-out, spin-off, or high-change transformation environment.
- Experience with executive compensation, long-term incentive design, or Board/Compensation Committee support.
- Experience supporting IPO readiness, public-company governance, or enhanced compensation governance.

Pay
Salary Range: $210,224 – $300,320 USD
