About the role

As a Strategic Client Relationship RFP Manager within Global Client Services (GCS), you will lead, coach, and develop a multi-location team responsible for RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs that clearly communicate Capital Group’s investment capabilities. You’ll partner with business leaders across Sales, Product, Data, Legal & Compliance, and Marketing to anticipate client needs, strengthen proposal strategy, improve content quality, and use AI, automation, and scalable practices to drive efficiency and growth across the distribution business.

Please note, this role does require you to work in office, Monday-Thursday with the flexibility to work from home on Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a multi-location team responsible for RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs.
  • Partner with business leaders across Sales, Product, Data, Legal & Compliance, and Marketing to anticipate client needs and strengthen proposal strategy.
  • Improve content quality and use AI, automation, and scalable practices to drive efficiency and growth.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in RFP, proposal management, or client servicing within asset management or financial services.
  • Experience leading and scaling high-performing RFP teams across multiple locations while developing talent and driving continuous improvement.
  • Deep expertise in RFP, RFI, and DDQ processes, including content strategy, governance, quality assurance, and workflow management.
  • Experience with proposal technologies, content platforms, automation, and AI that improve quality and scale.
  • Skilled at partnering across Sales, Product, Data, Legal, and Compliance to align stakeholders and support business needs.
  • Broad investment knowledge across Equity, Fixed Income, and Multi-Asset strategies and ability to communicate portfolio positioning clearly.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, global environments and bring strong judgment, communication, and leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.

Pay

Southern California Base Salary Range: $179,273-$286,837

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions, and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus.

Schedule

This role requires you to work in the office Monday-Thursday with the flexibility to work from home on Friday.
