About the role
Develop and execute strategic account management plans for assigned accounts
Accomplish all revenue and booking targets within your assigned territory
Represent Medidata in a manner consistent with company values and goals
Coordinate resources within sales and other departments
Maintain and update account and opportunity data within company systems as directed, including Salesforce.com
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Requires a minimum of 15 years of successful relevant experience, including Medical Device experience
- Knowledge of life sciences industry, including R&D, Clinical, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and IT functions
- Demonstrated experience being a trusted advisor within large accounts
- Leverage a consultative approach to guide positive outcomes for clients
- Demonstrated track record in exceeding sales and related account targets
- Understand organizational political dynamics and competitive awareness
- Strong business planning
- Strong application software experience
- Expertise with process approached selling
Pay
The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $116,500-$155,000.
