About the role
Akkio is seeking a Global Client Executive to own and grow Akkio's most significant enterprise relationships worldwide. This role requires a strategic seller with experience in AI, data, and media who can navigate complex organizations and close multi-year agreements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and expand a portfolio of global enterprise accounts, owning the full deal cycle from qualification through contract execution, and owning the revenue number for active accounts.
- Lead complex, multi-threaded negotiations spanning procurement, legal, IT, data science, and executive leadership.
- Represent Akkio at major industry conferences, client events, and executive roundtables globally.
- Work closely with Solutions Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure deals are set up for long-term success.
- Bring market intelligence back to the product and go-to-market teams to shape how Akkio evolves to meet enterprise client needs.
Requirements
- 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a track record of closing and expanding seven-figure, multi-stakeholder deals at global organizations.
- Experience selling into media agencies, marketing technology, or data/analytics platforms is a strong advantage.
- Credible, confident presence with senior executives and comfortable navigating the political complexity of large, matrixed organizations.
- Understanding of the media and advertising ecosystem well enough to have a point of view in the room — not just deliver a pitch.
- High degree of independence and ownership.
- Time management and pipeline discipline.
- Comfort with AI and data concepts.
