  • Salaried scale: The full salary range for this position is between $113,300 - $188,800 annually, with an estimated starting salary range of $140,000 to $160,000 annually/hour. Salaries are generally based on factors such as professional experience, leadership, education, demonstrated performance, internal equity, and, in some cases, geographical location.

Description of the Position

This position is responsible for ensuring the success of third-party clients of EDFse by establishing enduring and high-quality relationships with them, providing added value, ensuring optimal contract execution, resolving issues, and managing the account results. Ultimately, this position manages daily client interactions and defends their interests; you will be the driving force that ensures we meet our commitments to them and earn the necessary trust to conclude future service contracts. This position will also work with management to define the global strategy for the region and play a central role in our ability to implement this strategy.

Responsibilities

  • 25% - Assume final responsibility for the client relationship and account results through direct client interaction and supervision of other client managers.
  • 20% - Increase portfolio revenue (directly managed and through other colleagues) through new product and service offerings, and manage costs to balance profitability and long-term client success.
  • 20% - For high-level commercial and technical questions, identify and coordinate appropriate internal resources (HSE, QC, technical services, accounting, etc.) to ensure quick problem resolution. Report any obstacles or resource issues necessary to guarantee client success.
  • 10% - Supervise contractual obligations after contract conclusion and throughout the commercial agreement period; ensure high-level contract management in collaboration with operations and EDF RS legal services.
  • 5% - Lead the client contract renewal process (commercial negotiations, contract placement, internal validations, etc.), ensuring all renewals are obtained.
  • 5% - Ensure timely establishment of complete commercial and operational reports, both internally within EDFse and externally with clients.
  • 5% - Promote a positive image in the renewable energy sector through enlightened leadership activities and demand generation (conferences, webinars, article writing, professional salon participation, etc.).
  • 5% - Stay informed about the company's vision, mission, values, and competitive landscape, and effectively present the company's capabilities and service offerings to the team and clients.
  • 5% - Other tasks assigned.

Supervision of Personnel

  • Direct supervision of key client managers; mentor role for team members, providing guidance and support daily.
  • Coordinate and lead personnel activities.

Qualifications

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical or related business field (engineering, finance, accounting, physics, mathematics, etc.) or equivalent experience. At least 7 years of experience in client relationship management at all organizational levels; experience in asset management or client management would be advantageous. Renewable energy (wind, solar) experience would be advantageous.
  • Skills/Knowledge/Attributes: Ability to handle client problems and collaborate with multiple teams to provide the best possible customer service, with continuous improvement in mind. Quick-witted, responsive, eloquent, excellent interpersonal skills, and adaptability to various internal and external stakeholders. Innovative spirit, analytical and proactive thinking to solve client problems and offer sales-incentive and cross-selling solutions. Strong presentation skills and ability to prepare and deliver formal presentations to large groups, online, and in person. Excellent listening and communication skills, including the ability to establish connections at all stages of project lifecycle. Attention to detail and project management skills to ensure contract compliance. Solid conflict resolution, negotiation, and influence abilities, including the ability to clearly define client expectations. Negotiation, contract drafting, and interpretation skills. Considered a team player who also possesses the independent thought and opinion necessary to demonstrate honesty and integrity in making key commercial decisions. Passionate about commercial results, with a keen sense of responsibility, performance indicators, and task appropriation.

Working Conditions

  • 75% of time spent at the office, using computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software and programs), phones, and common office equipment.
  • 25% of time spent outside the office, traveling to other EDFse sites, clients' locations, partner organizational sites, and attending professional conferences and trade shows.
