Duties
- Become trained and certified to perform field testing including temperature, slump, air and unit weight and strength testing for concrete, grout and mortar to ensure building materials meet the required specifications for construction
- Manage, sort, and test concrete and other construction material specimens delivered to our laboratory
- Operate in our engineering laboratory to prepare specimens for testing compressive strength testing for construction materials including concrete, grout, mortar and masonry
- Manage equipment maintenance and calibrations of laboratory and field equipment to ensure accuracy of testing results
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in Construction Materials Testing (CMT) is a plus
- Own reliable transportation, valid driver's license; satisfactory driving record
- Steel-toe or composite-toe boots
- Willingness to learn, a desire to grow in the engineering and testing industry, and a ethic of honesty and reliability
- Physical capability to lift 50lbs or more on a regular basis
- Some weekend hours will be required to meet project needs

Pay
Hourly rate depends on local market and results of candidate interview. Overtime is paid at time and a half for all hours worked over 40 hours in one week.
Schedule
Full-time position - Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
