About the role
We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to support daily financial operations in various locations across Massachusetts. This role offers opportunities for growth and can lead to a permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Perform accurate data entry of financial information into accounting systems
- Reconcile invoices, statements, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with billing, payment posting, and collections support
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
- Support month-end close activities and reporting tasks
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to accounting transactions
- Assist with other administrative and accounting duties as needed
Requirements
- Detail-oriented and organized professional with strong data entry skills
- Experience supporting accounting operations
- The ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in accounting or a related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
