General Manufacturing Associate (Detailed Assembler) 3rd Shift
Position Summary
The primary responsibility of this role is to assemble, package, and inspect medical devices according to detailed procedures. This includes setting up workstations, performing quality checks, completing accurate production documentation, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, package, and inspect medical devices following detailed procedures
- Set up workstations and support production start-up activities
- Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform quality checks and identify non-conforming products
- Complete accurate production documentation (Good Documentation Practices)
- Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and improve processes
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity are essential
- The ability to follow instructions and work in a regulated environment is necessary
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills are required
- The ability to work independently and in a team setting is important
- Prior manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Fine motor skills for intricate hand assembly
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- A basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards
- Problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
- The ability to read and follow written procedures and work instructions
- Clear communication skills (verbal and written)
- Basic computer proficiency
- The ability to rotate across different workstations
Work Environment
- Clean, safety-focused manufacturing environment
- Exposure to production equipment and moving machinery
- May involve handling chemicals in a controlled setting
- Requires sitting, standing, and repetitive hand movements
- The ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs as needed
- Moderate noise level with required safety protections
Pay
The hourly pay rate for this role is $21.38 plus shift differential. The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
