General Manager, Equipment and Fleet Operations

About the role

The Boldt Company is looking for a General Manager, Equipment & Fleet Operations who can build a high‑performing, service‑driven operation that keeps projects moving safely and efficiently. You will lead equipment sourcing, maintenance, rentals, yard operations, capital planning, and fleet strategy while partnering with project teams to determine the best buy, rent, or partner solutions. This opportunity is designed for an experienced equipment or fleet leader who understands both the operational and financial sides of the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment sourcing, maintenance, rentals, yard operations, capital planning, and fleet strategy.
• Partner with project teams to determine the best buy, rent, or partner solutions.
• Maintain an active presence at yards and jobsites to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience).
• Minimum of fifteen years of experience in mechanics, equipment, and/or fleet management.
• Minimum of five years of people management experience.
• A valid driver’s license may be required; individuals may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check.
