General Maintenance

Job Summary

The General Maintenance role supports safe and efficient malt plant operations. Duties include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment inspections. Responsibilities also involve communicating operational updates and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow Plant Policies, Safety Policies and Procedures
• Work independently and manage personal and team performance
• Communicate job knowledge and process changes with team members, department crew, and management
• Use PC skills such as MS office, excel, word, email, and SAP for maintenance tasks
• Participate in facility management programs and safety initiatives

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 years’ industrial, agricultural, or production/food processing mechanical experience recommended
• Vocational/Technical training preferred
• Strong commitment to Safety, Quality, and Productivity
• Excellent PC skills including MS office, excel, word, email, and SAP
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in dusty and wet environments
• Perform all phases of maintenance and repair/rebuild on plant equipment and facilities
• Perform planned inspections and preventative maintenance
• Perform metal fabrication and layout, assembly, and welding
