General Maintenance

Full-time General Maintenance position at our Deland, FL location.

About the role

Responsible for exterior and interior physical conditions of the building and facility grounds. This role focuses on remodeling vacated apartments and assisting the Director of Maintenance with day-to-day maintenance and repairs.

Schedule

Typical work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. On-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Complete housekeeping duties, repairs, and special work orders.
• Redecorate vacated apartments to restore them to a “like-new” appearance and condition as quickly as possible for re-rental.
• Identify and report hazards and potential maintenance problems to management if not immediately correctable.
• Assist the Director with completion of work orders and maintenance of buildings and grounds to ensure a clean, neat appearance and top functioning condition.
• Assist the housekeeper/janitor as needed to maintain the facility in the best possible appearance.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Minimum three years of extensive experience with building repairs and maintenance, including painting.
