Responsibilities

• Develops general maintenance and repair program throughout the facility.
• Provides assistance in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration maintenance and repair program.
• Supervises and completes general maintenance, construction, and renovation projects for facility.
• Establishes on-call procedures to respond to emergency general maintenance repair calls.
• Assists in Emergency HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repair calls and assures the work is promptly and properly performed.
• Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

Requirements

• High school diploma and trades experience related to the area of employment. Relevant experience may be substituted for the required diploma on a year-for-year basis.
• Three (3) years professional experience in institutional general maintenance construction and repair.
