Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the general maintenance and repair program throughout the facility.
• Provides assistance in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration maintenance and repair program.
• Supervises and completes general maintenance, construction, and renovation projects for the facility.
• Establishes on-call procedures to respond to emergency general maintenance repair calls.
• Assists in emergency HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repair calls, ensuring work is promptly and properly performed.
• Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent trades experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis).
• Three (3) years of professional experience in institutional general maintenance, construction, and repair.
