General Liability Claims Adjuster II

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage caseload within established targets and appropriate level.
• Ensure thorough investigations, evaluations, negotiation, and disposition of all claims, while maintaining compliance with statutory and legal obligations.
• Monitor and execute timely statutory deadlines or legal filings as necessary.
• Analyze facts of the loss to develop optimal strategies and mitigate Total Cost of Risk to the Brands' bottom lines.
• Identify fraud indicators and pursue subrogation opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Safety department to identify and minimize retail and distribution operation risks.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.

Basic Qualifications

• Licensed adjuster (as appropriate by jurisdiction).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in handling General Liability claims.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, statutes, and procedures.
• Knowledge of medical terminology involved in complex claims.

• Demonstrated relationship building and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
• Customer-focused with a solid understanding of legal procedures, processes, practices, and standards.
• Ability to identify and solve problems effectively.
• Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent follow-up and attention to detail.
• Applies critical thinking when solving problems and making decisions.

• ME/NC/PA/SC: $63,440 - $95,160
• IL/MA/MD/NY: $72,880 - $109,320
