Schedule

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. Occasional overtime and weekends may be required based on business needs.

About the role

As a General Laborer, you’ll support daily composting, production, and site operations. Responsibilities include material handling, site maintenance, equipment cleanup, housekeeping, and assisting production personnel. This is a physically active position where reliability, teamwork, safety, and a strong work ethic are critical.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties throughout the facility and compost site
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment
• Remove debris and maintain housekeeping standards throughout the site
• Support equipment operators and production personnel as needed
• Assist with compost production and processing activities
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to work safely in an outdoor industrial environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in composting, landscaping, agriculture, construction, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial operations
• Experience using hand tools and power tools

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, and climbing
• Ability to repeatedly lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to push, pull, and maneuver materials and equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work around dust, dirt, mud, noise, moving equipment, and strong odors
• Ability to wear required PPE at all times
