Cambia is seeking a Compliance Analyst I, II, or III for a hybrid role (3 days/week in office). Candidates must reside within commutable distance of one of our Portland, Medford, Fargo, Burlington, Vancouver, Renton, Boise, Lewiston, or Salt Lake City offices. Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, deliver, measure, and refine compliance activities and controls to prevent, detect, and correct violations of state, federal, and other laws.
  • Risk assessment, training, monitoring, auditing, regulatory audit, and market conduct activities.
  • Audit coordination, investigation, root cause analysis, regulatory implementation, control assessment, reporting, and corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • Compliance Specialist I: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 3 years of compliance experience or related experience, preferably in a health care or Medicare-regulated environment.
  • Compliance Specialist II: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 5 years of compliance experience or related experience, preferably in a health care or Medicare-regulated environment.
  • Compliance Specialist III: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 8 years of compliance experience or related experience, preferably in a health care or Medicare-regulated environment or ACA-regulated environment.

Skills and Attributes

  • Proven ability to deliver effective compliance activities, including monitoring, auditing, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
  • Skilled in project management and delivery, including the ability to initiate and manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent research and analytics skills, with the ability to distill actionable advice from diverse sources and opinions.
  • Legal research skills preferred.
  • Proven ability to influence effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent independent judgment and decision-making skills.
  • PC literate with office computer software.
  • Discretion and confidentiality.
  • Agile, with high learning velocity.
  • Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making in professional settings.

Additional Skills and Attributes

  • For Compliance Analyst II: Practical familiarity with legal requirements relating to assigned compliance program, or practical familiarity with analogous legal requirements; mastery of at least four core compliance functions; ability to handle successfully at least medium-complexity, medium-difficulty matters end-to-end; ability to drive success with challenging partners.
  • For Compliance Analyst III: Mastery of legal requirements relating to assigned compliance program; mastery of at least six core compliance functions; ability to handle successfully the most complex, most difficult matters end-to-end; ability to drive success with the most challenging and/or most elevated partners; excellence in building effective relationships at all levels of the organization; influencing decision-making; effectively framing issues and dialogues; and driving successful outcomes; operational knowledge relating to assigned compliance program; peer mentoring and departmental leadership; experience with AI tools and technologies.

Pay and Schedule

  • Compliance Analyst I: Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho - $69,700.00 – $94,300.00, North Dakota - $65,986.69 - $89,276.11.
  • Compliance Analyst II: Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho - $84,200.00 – $113,900.00, North Dakota - $81,679.31 - $110,507.30.
  • Compliance Analyst III: Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho - $101,200.00 – $136,900.00, North Dakota - $90,906.79 - $122,991.55.
