General Compliance Analyst I, II or III
About the role
Cambia is seeking a Compliance Analyst I, II, or III for a hybrid role (3 days/week in office). Candidates must reside within commutable distance of one of our Portland, Medford, Fargo, Burlington, Vancouver, Renton, Boise, Lewiston, or Salt Lake City offices. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, deliver, measure, and refine compliance activities and controls to prevent, detect, and correct violations of state, federal, and other laws.
- Risk assessment, training, monitoring, auditing, regulatory audit, and market conduct activities.
- Audit coordination, investigation, root cause analysis, regulatory implementation, control assessment, reporting, and corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Compliance Specialist I: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 3 years of compliance experience in a health care or Medicare-regulated environment.
- Compliance Specialist II: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 5 years of compliance experience in a health care or Medicare-regulated environment.
- Compliance Specialist III: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 8 years of compliance experience in a health care or Medicare-regulated environment or 8 years in an ACA-regulated environment.
Skills and Attributes
- Proven ability to deliver effective compliance activities, including monitoring, auditing, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
- Skilled in project management and delivery, including ability to initiate and manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent research and analytics skills, with ability to distill actionable advice from diverse sources and opinions.
- Legal research skills preferred.
- Proven ability to influence effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent independent judgment and decision-making skills.
- PC literate with office computer software.
- Discretion and confidentiality.
- Agile, with high learning velocity.
- Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making in professional settings highly desired.
Additional Skills and Attributes
- For Compliance Analyst II: Organizational agility, fluency in legal requirements, mastery of at least four core compliance functions, ability to handle complex matters end-to-end, and ability to drive success with challenging partners.
- For Compliance Analyst III: Mastery of legal requirements, mastery of six core compliance functions, ability to handle complex matters end-to-end, ability to drive success with the most challenging partners, excellent relationship-building, operational knowledge, peer mentoring, and departmental leadership. Also, experience with AI tools and technologies.
Pay and Schedule
- Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho: Expected hiring ranges and full salary ranges provided.
- North Dakota: Expected hiring ranges and full salary ranges provided.
