About the role
Cambia is seeking a Compliance Analyst I, II, or III for a hybrid role (3 days/week in office) in various locations across Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho, North Dakota, and Montana. Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the office location.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, deliver, measure, and refine compliance activities and controls to prevent, detect, and correct violations of state, federal, and other laws.
- Risk assessment, training, monitoring, auditing, regulatory audit, and market conduct activities.
- Audit coordination, investigation, root cause analysis, regulatory implementation, control assessment, reporting, and corrective actions.
- Works as a team with other staff members assigned in either a supporting or leading role.
- Participates in the annual risk assessment process.
- Ensures materials, reports, and other documents are written in an understandable and concise style.
- Participates, supports, and serves in regular meetings, including divisional and cross-divisional committees as needed.
Qualifications
- Compliance Specialist I: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 3 years of compliance experience or related experience in a health care or Medicare-regulated environment.
- Compliance Specialist II: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 5 years of compliance experience or related experience in a health care or Medicare-regulated environment.
- Compliance Specialist III: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 8 years of compliance experience or related experience in a health care or Medicare-regulated environment, or 8 years in an ACA-regulated environment.
Skills and Attributes
- Proven ability to deliver effective Core Compliance activities, including monitoring, auditing, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
- Skilled in project management and delivery, including proven ability to initiate and manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent research and analytics skills, with proven ability to distill actionable, practical advice from diverse sources and opinions.
- Legal research skills preferred.
- Proven ability to influence effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent independent judgment and decision-making skills.
- PC literate with office computer software - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, etc.
- Discretion and confidentiality.
- Agile, with high learning velocity.
- Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making in professional settings highly desired.
Additional Skills and Attributes
- For Compliance Analyst II: Demonstrated fluency in organizational agility, practical familiarity with legal requirements, mastery of at least four Compliance functions, ability to handle medium-complexity, medium-difficulty matters end-to-end, and ability to drive success with challenging partners.
- For Compliance Analyst III: Demonstrated mastery of legal requirements relating to assigned compliance program, mastery of at least six core compliance functions, ability to handle complex, difficult matters end-to-end, ability to drive success with the most challenging and/or most elevated partners, excellent relationship-building skills, operational knowledge of assigned compliance program, peer mentoring and departmental leadership, and experience with AI tools and technologies.
Pay and Schedule
- Compliance Analyst I: $69,700.00 – $94,300.00, $65,000.00 – $107,000.00, 10% bonus target.
- Compliance Analyst II: $84,200.00 – $113,900.00, $79,000.00 – $129,000.00, 10% bonus target.
- Compliance Analyst III: $101,200.00 – $136,900.00, $95,000.00 – $155,000.00, 15% bonus target.
