PACCAR Financial (PFC) supports the sale of PACCAR vehicles by providing flexible financing solutions and value-added services tailored to the transportation industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support month-end close activities, including timely journal entry preparation, review, and posting.
  • Prepare month-end account reconciliations and analytical reviews, with emphasis on margin reporting, flooring portfolio, and SG&A.
  • Report divisional results to the Corporate Consolidations team and ensure reporting deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate with Treasury on accounting and reporting for debt issuances, borrowing costs, and intercompany loan transactions.
  • Support the monthly forecast process, including preparation of the cost of funds forecast.
  • Own fixed asset reporting, including recording capital projects and monitoring project status.
  • Prepare reporting packages for senior management, including Greybook reporting and SG&A budget to actual analysis.
  • Assist with preparation of sections of PFC’s quarterly SEC filings.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop the General Accountant through clear expectations, training, and feedback.
  • Contribute to special projects that require technical accounting analysis, process improvement, and data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant accounting or finance experience; supervisory experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, well-supported work.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.

Pay

$80,800 - 120,800 annually
