General Accounting Supervisor

Duties & Responsibilities

• Preparing financial statements and reports
• Driving month and year-end closes
• Developing, implementing and maintaining policies, controls and procedures
• Ensuring financial alignment with business goals
• Working closely with various finance & operational departments to ensure reporting, system and internal control requirements are met
• Providing insightful and dependable financial information to senior management to facilitate corporate strategic decisions

Requirements

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Show advancements in responsibilities with a minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting
• Have experience in accounting within an organization with annual sales in excess of $20 million dollars
• Have a collaborative and accessible leadership style with a successful track record of developing, mentoring and motivating top performing teams
• Be a proven initiator, innovator and influencer who can drive change, improve processes, and provide sound solutions to complex and routine business issues
• Possess superior analytical, communication, interpersonal and strategic and tactical planning skills
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains software or NetSuite is a plus
• Experience in ERP transition / implementation is a plus
