About the role

The Oracle Veteran Internship Program (OVIP) is designed to aid military veterans and active-duty Military Spouses in their transition to a career in the private or public sector. Interns will engage in on-the-job training and professional development in various fields including information technology, technical/systems consulting, technical support, finance, human resources, logistics, marketing, sales, and customer support.

Responsibilities

  • Support federal compliance initiatives.
  • Work with the GDI Performance Management team to ensure documentation, processes, and policies are up-to-date and adopted.
  • Maintain business relationships with interested parties on information security requirements.
  • Collaborate with other Oracle One Federal teams on additional/related GDI Performance Management related initiatives in an ad-hoc capacity.

Requirements

  • Experience with Cybersecurity and Information Security.
  • Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
  • Fundamental understanding of security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • US Citizens with the ability to obtain a US security clearance if needed.

  • A strong multi-tasker with a keen eye for detail.

Pay

Hiring range in USD: $19.09 - $36.35 per hour; $39,700 - $75,600 per year.

Schedule

This is a 40-hour per week position.
