GDI Business Analyst Intern - OVIP

About the role

The Oracle Veteran Internship Program (OVIP) is designed to assist military veterans and active-duty Military Spouses in transitioning to a career in the corporate sector. Interns will engage in on-the-job training and professional development in various fields including IT, technical/systems consulting, technical support, finance, human resources, logistics, marketing, sales, and customer support.

Responsibilities

• Support federal compliance initiatives.
• Work with the GDI Performance Management team to ensure documentation, processes, and policies are up-to-date and adopted.
• Maintain business relationships with interested parties on information security requirements.
• Collaborate with other Oracle One Federal teams on additional/related GDI Performance Management related initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience with Cybersecurity and Information Security.
• Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
• Fundamental understanding of security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain a US security clearance if needed.

• Knowledge of standards and requirements with application security.
• Expertise in projects of risk, information security, and environment management.
• A strong multi-tasker with a keen eye for detail.
• Organized and thrive in fast-paced environments.

Benefits

• Hourly wage: $30 per hour.
• Position type: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Range: From $19.09 - $36.35 per hour; From: $39,700 - $75,600 per year.
