About the Role

Travel assignment for a Gastroenterologist in Petoskey, MI, focusing on endoscopy coverage and consults in a hospital-based clinic and endoscopy setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform approximately 18 outpatient and 20 inpatient scopes daily during scheduled hours.
• Manage weekend call (24-hour weekends only).
• Provide clinical care within a team of physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs).
• Conduct endoscopy procedures and patient consultations.
• Work with onsite lab and X-ray services.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
• Active Michigan medical license (IMLC candidates must meet submission timing for licensure).
• ACLS certification.
• Minimum 2-3 years of post-fellowship experience.
• COVID vaccination.
• DEA verification.
• Clean malpractice history.
• Ability to drive locally.
• Active licensure at time of submission.
• Clearance of background check.
• Comfortable with Cerner EMR and weekend on-call duties.
