About the role
Seeking a locum tenens physician for ongoing inpatient and outpatient coverage in a busy practice setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage 12 patients per shift
- Perform upper and lower GI endoscopies, PEG, and esophageal dilatation
- Interpret liver biopsies and manometry
- Beeper call with a 30-minute response time (1/8 call ratio)
- Manage 8-12 patients on call
Requirements
- Proficiency in GI procedures, including endoscopy, PEG, esophageal dilatation, liver biopsy interpretation, and manometry
