About the role
This role involves providing inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services within a hospital-based practice that includes an outpatient endoscopy center.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced interventional procedures such as ERCP and EUS
- Round in the afternoons and take call coverage during evenings and nights
- Manage both inpatient and outpatient cases
- Collaborate with fellows and participate in a fellowship program at an academic medical center offering transplant and biliary services
Qualifications
- Experience working with fellows and residents
- Ability to perform advanced interventional GI procedures
Skills
- Strong clinical expertise in advanced GI procedures
- Teamwork with trainees
- Ability to handle a hospital-based practice
