Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 12 patients per shift
• Perform upper and lower GI endoscopies
• Perform PEG and esophageal dilatation procedures
• Skills required: Liver biopsy and manometry interpretation
• Necessitates a 30-minute response time on a beeper call system
• Manage 8-12 patients with an 1/8 call ratio

Qualifications

• Proficiency in GI procedures
• Diagnostics skills
• Ability to handle inpatient and outpatient cases
