Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage in a mixed inpatient and outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 12 patients per shift
• Perform upper and lower GI endoscopies, PEG, and esophageal dilatation
• Interpret liver biopsies and manometry
• Beeper call with a 30-minute response time (1/8 call ratio, handling 8-12 patients on call)

Requirements

• Proficiency in GI procedures, PEG, esophageal dilatation, liver biopsy, and manometry interpretation
