Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist

About the role

This role involves providing hospitalist services with 24-hour call shifts during weekdays and weekends, primarily in hospital and outpatient endoscopy settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage 16 patients daily in clinic and 14-16 in the endoscopy center
• Perform ERCP procedures (minimum 50 successful cases in the past two years required)
• Utilize EMR systems like EPIC
• Perform additional procedures such as double balloon enteroscopy or capsule endoscopy
• Provide patient management and maintain high-quality care

Provation GI software experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Experience in adult patient care (18+)
• Excellent procedural skills
• Ability to work in both hospital and outpatient environments
