Gaming (Slot) Technician - Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Foster a fun environment
• Be a gracious host to all guests and co-workers
• Ensure regulatory compliance with slot machine maintenance
• Maintain functionality of the slot maintenance system
• Interact with Slot Operations personnel and Guests while repairing slot machine functions
• Work on special projects as assigned
• Assist in maintaining adequate stock of parts necessary for repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Perform floor maintenance
• Assist customers with questions and complaints regarding slot machines
• Provide answers and explanations, and rectify problems as appropriate

Requirements

• Outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude
• Comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with guests
• High school diploma or GED
• One to six months related experience and/or training
• Electronic/mechanical troubleshooting and use of electronic test equipment experience required
• Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift
• Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality
• Must be able to lift and/or move more than 100 pounds

• Starting at $19.51 per hour, up to $24.39 per hour
