Gaming Technician, Slot

About the role

The Gaming Technician is responsible for monitoring the performance of electronic gaming devices, ensuring all slot machines are operable and in good repair. They also ensure compliance with approved procedures for the slot areas in a professional manner. This role is a first-level ambassador for guests enjoying their gaming experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track slot machine malfunctions, their causes, repairs, and parts involved
• Notify shift supervisors of irregularities in customer play
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Provide excitement and world-class service by delivering Old-World Hospitality and Charm
• Support, promote, and demonstrate superior customer service
• Handle customer concerns and requests professionally
• Maintain confidentiality of all company information
• Work in a fast-paced casino environment with low lighting, noise, and multiple distractions
• Push, pull, carry, and lift up to 75 lbs
• Move around all work areas effectively and efficiently with reasonable accommodations
• Clean and sanitize all gaming equipment on the Slot floor
• Provide a clean gaming area for both internal and external guests

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Associates degree in electronics or related field preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum two years of experience as a Slot Technician / Bench Technician with A+ Certification preferred
• Excellent computer skills, including reading, analyzing, interpreting, and comprehending technical procedures, government regulations, instructions, and correspondence/memos

Skills

• Ability to sit, stand, walk for long periods of time
• Ability to use an “in ear” communication device for radio communications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced casino environment with low lighting, noise, and multiple distractions
• Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to clean and sanitize all gaming equipment on the Slot floor
• Ability to provide a clean gaming area for both internal and external guests
